"Flying da Kite??!"

Last night there was a good wind so we decided to take Mason to the local park to fly his kite. We bought him the kite last September when we were on vacation at the shore. So, a maiden flight was long overdue.

Mason had a great time and did really well holding on to the string. But, it didn't take long until the swing set was calling his name and he decided to move on.

Father's Day

Mason got Fran "The Dangerous Book for Boys" for Father's Day. It is this really cool book that dads and sons can share. It covers topics like how to build a fire, how to make a bow and arrow, how to play poker, pirate flags, constellations, famous battles and much more. It is a great history book / how-to guide. I highly recommend it for any dad who wants bond with his son.

Day Out with Thomas

On Monday, we took Mason, and his Pap, to see Day out with Thomas. Even though it was an extremely hot day, Mason loved it and we had a great family day out. Mason was not in the mood to have his picture taken but he gave us no trouble posing with his Pap at the end of the day.

We had a second showing on our townhouse today....keep your fingers crossed. I will keep you updated.

My Fishing Pond

We got Mason a little swimming pool so he could soak on the deck. He really loves it and refers to it as "my fishing pond"!!
