House for Sale!

Yea!!! Our house if FINALLY on the market!! Anyone wanna buy a townhouse????

Mother's Day

Since it was such a beautiful day we took a long drive to see Betsy, Ed and their two daughters. They have a lovely backyard and gardens that Betsy has painstakingly tended to for years. It was a nice afternoon sitting in the garden relaxing. The perfect way to spend Mother's Day. Aunt Betsy even showed Mason the beautiful blue bird eggs that were nested in her yard.

My Flower

Mason went with me to the nursery and he picked out a flower for himself. "I want the orange one Mommy!" He (over) waters it every day and and is excited about the new buds.

Fish Hatchery

After Elmo, Fran took us to the fish hatchery so Mason could feed the trout. He had a great time and enjoyed watching the fish splash around as they vied for the food. Occasionally, there was an orange trout that he would get excited over and call Dorothy (Elmo's pet goldfish ). The batteries in my digital died so we had to resort to the old 35mm. The next day Mason decided to open the back of the camera and remove the film. Hence, there are few pictures of me with Mason. (Always the photographer, never the photographed!)

Sesame Street Live

Grammy and Pop (Fran's parents) were kind enough to get Mason (and Mom&Dad) tickets to see Elmo's Coloring Book. This is Mason's second show and he loved it!! He was too young to understand the concept of the production but he really got into the dancing and singing. During intermission, we moved our seats to an unoccupied section where he was free to jump around and jam to the music. What a character! He looks sharp in his tie-dyed Elmo shirt and hat!
