4th of July

We took a family day out to the Lehigh Valley Zoo. It is a wonderful place, perfect for young children. Luckily, we avoided the rain until the very end.

Mason fell asleep in the car 5 minutes before we got there. This is how he spent the first hour there. Gee, do you think he needs a bigger stroller?

After waking up, he was not too keen on the big animals especially, the birds. He kept covering up his eyes. There was a free-roaming peacock that kept walking by the stroller, all Mason would say was "No, no, no..." He must get that from his Nan.

Mason thought this diving swan was hysterical!!
"Look Mommy, the duck doing tumble sets!! He's upside down!!"

Kutztown Festival

This week I took Mason to the Kutztown Festival. Let me say right off that me taking him alone was a BIG mistake!!! Despite his foul mood, I did manage a few happy pictures.

Mason and his new hat. " Howdy partners......"

Climbing to the top of the slide in the Noah's Ark hot air display. I was amazed he did it all on his own (12 times!!)

Success at the top!

What a sweet ride!

Say Cheese.....

Mason decided to take my picture, what do you think? (those are his feet)

Pea - Nut Butter!!

Experimenting with food. Mason has recently discovered that despite my telling him for months, he really does like peanut butter. Here is the evidence.
